Robert A Karstetter

Robert A. Karstetter, 88, husband of Arnice N. (Duck) Karsetter of 1391 W. Winter Rd., formerly of 1969 W. Winter Rd., Loganton, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore, PA.

Born in Loganton, PA on November 24, 1927 he was the son of the late Earl and Mildred (Seiber) Karstetter.

Robert was employed by Piper Aircraft of Lock Haven, PA retiring in 1990 after 32 years of service as an engine mechanic.  He was also a local dairy farmer for many years.

In the past he also assisted with Stalls Auctions and in transporting the Amish Community.

Along with his wife he is survived by three son Robert G. Karstetter, Ronald Karstetter and Robin K. Karstetter all of Loganton, two daughters Marlene Heggenstaller of Loganton and Darlene Watt of Lock Haven, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers George and Richard Karstetter and a sister June Rossman.

A private graveside service will be held in the St. Paul’s Evangelical United Brethren Church Cemetery, Logan Mills, PA at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton, PA.
