Dean A Miller,Sr.

     Dean A. Miller, Sr., 87, husband of the late Susan J. (Fegley) Miller of Rauchtown PA passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

     Born in Carroll, PA on November 8, 1936 he was the son of the late Ellery and Alice (Showers) Miller.

     For many years he was employed by Textron/Lycoming as a drill operator.

     He is survived by a son Dean A. Miller, Jr. (Shirley) of Rauchtown, a daughter Deborah Lamey (Denis) of Carroll, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

     In addition to his wife he was predeceased by a daughter Donna Karstetter.

     The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton, PA with Pastor Ken Geisewite officiating.  A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.  Final Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Loganton, PA. If desired memorials may be made in Dean’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1375 Martin St., Suite 206, State College, PA, 16803 or to the Nippenose Valley Volunteer Fire Co.
