Donald L. Rauch

     Donald L. “Donnie” Rauch, 76, husband of Frieda C. (Kaercher) Rauch, of East Winter Rd., Loganton, PA passed away at home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

     Born in Jersey Shore, PA on April 24, 1950 he was the son of the late Lee M. and Ruth (Stewart) Rauch.

     Donnie honorably served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force.

     Frieda and Donnie were wed on June 5, 1970 and shared over 55 years of marriage together.

     He was a 1968 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

     Donnie was employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker for over 42 years retiring in 2008.

     Along with his wife he is survived by his step mother Mavis (Welshans) Rauch of Jersey Shore, a sister Deborah Lee Rauch Meixel (Danny), two brothers, Gary F. Rauch and Denny Rauch (Lori) all of Jersey Shore, a brother in law John Kaercher of Loganton, and many nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Barry Rauch.

     Donnie was an avid hunter and had achieved harvesting Pennsylvania’s three big game species in a single licensing year, “The Triple Trophy” a Whitetail buck, a Black bear and a Spring  Gobbler turkey.

     In keeping with Donnie’s wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
