Isabelle M. (Sterner) Rauch

     Isabelle M. (Confair) Rauch, 96, widow of Jersey Shore, PA passed away at home on Friday, April 3, 2026 surrounded by her family.

    She was born on March 12, 1930 in White Deer, PA to the late Clinton M. and Edna M. (Sterner) Confair.

     She married Dale E. Rauch in 1949 and together they shared 40 years of marriage until his untimely passing in 1989.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

     Isabelle was a longtime member of the Wesleyan Church.  She had a deep and lasting passion for missions, expressed through years of heartfelt letter writing and faithful support, touching countless lives both near and far.

     She will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering faith and the love she gave so freely to her family and others.  Her legacy of compassion and service will continue to live on in all who knew her.

     She is survived by one brother Harold Confair (Betty) her three children: Ervin L. Rauch (Barbara), Sherry R. Rauch and Douglas W. Rauch (Lori): grandchildren; Andrew Rauch, Kara Sargent (Chad), Melissa Lierse (Rob), Wesley Rauch (Lauren): great grandchildren; Zachary Rauch (Jess), Gabriel Muthler, Emmaline Muthler (Jeremiah), Elijah Rauch, Joshua Rauch, Kaylee Sargent, Thomas  Muthler, Zoey Sargent, Wesley Rauch, Griffen Rauch, Norah Rauch and Rex Lierse: and her Great Great Grandchildren; Harleen Rauch, Norah Mack and Denver Zinck.

     In addition to her husband Dale E. Rauch and her parents she was predeceased by a son Rodney J. Rauch and a great grandson Jacob A. Rauch: and her siblings Charles Confair, Myrtle Nyman, James Confair and Raymond Confair.

     A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, 220 High St., Jersey Shore, PA with Rev. Ken Lynn officiating.  A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of the service. Private interment will be held in Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, PA.

     In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be made in Isabelle’s name to The Wesleyan Church Donor Services, % Global Partners, 13300 Olio Rd, Suite # 400, Fishers, Indiana 46037.
