Louise L. (Brown) Hill

     Louise L. (Brown) Hill, 97, widow of Robert “Sonny” Hill of Jersey Shore, PA passed away at home on Friday, April 25, 2025.

     Born in Jersey Shore. PA on December 25, 1927 she was the daughter of the late George and Lou (Carnahan) Brown.

     She was a 1945 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

     Louise was a hairdresser for many years and was employed for over 42 years by the former Santa’s Beauty Shop of Jersey Shore and was a member of First Methodist Church, Jersey Shore.

     She enjoyed woodworking with her husband, listening to opera music and reading on her front porch.

     Louise is survived by a son Larry Hill (Betty) of Jersey Shore, a daughter Linda Kanouff (Jim) of Jersey Shore, three grandchildren, Scott Mumma (Brenda) of Jersey Shore, Nikki Bailey (Jamie) of South Avis and Shelli Kanouff of Jersey Shore, 6 great grandchildren, Samantha Bailey, Logan Bailey, Haley Mumma, Jasmyne Boob, Jaxx Boob and Violet Probst.

     Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her 5 siblings.

     The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Crossroads Church, 1454 S. Rte. 44 Hwy., Antes Fort, PA with Pastor C. Jamie Bailey officiating.  A viewing will be held in the chapel from 11:00 AM until time of the service. Private Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, PA.  If desired memorials may be made in Louise’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 W. Third St., Williamsport, PA.
