Samuel W. Heltman, 84, son of the late Cleo and Mildred (Hinds) Heltman, was born at home in Bellefonte, PA on January 21, 1940. He passed away peacefully at his residence in Loganton, PA on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Diane (Wagner) Heltman and children Lori A. (Wayne) Ingram of Mill Hall and Steven C. (Peggy) Heltman of Lamar. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Brandon Ingram, Cassandra Newcomer, Joseph Moyer and Samantha Heltman and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Zachary Ingram and a sister Emma Jean Miller.
Samuel graduated in the class of 1957 of Bellefonte High School, Bellefonte, PA. He was employed by and retired from Anchor Darling Valve Co., of Williamsport, PA.
He loved to be surrounded by his family.
Samuel enjoyed attending the Centre County Grange Fair and in earlier years his passions were roller skating, dancing, gambling and searching for antiques.
The funeral service will be held in the Wayne P. Urbine funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton, PA on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Donald E. Grant officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
