Shirley J. Snook

Shirley J. Snook, 87, widow of Lucien M. Snook, Sr., of 53 Spring Lane, Loganton, PA, passed away at home on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
     Born in Jersey Shore, PA on January 24, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. and Wilhelmina (Cupp) Scheesley.
     She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Bible Church and the Sugar Valley Lions Club, Loganton, PA.
     Shirley was a homemaker the majority of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family and creating crafts.
     She is survived by three children Lucien M. Snook, Jr., Loganton, Thomas M. Snook, McClure, PA and Teressa Raudabaugh of Loganton, two step sisters, Sandra Young of Jersey Shore and Jane Bartley of Loganton, 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
     In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son Wayde Snook, Sr and a sister Sandra Hanford.
     The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton, PA with Rev. Melvin Musser officiating.  A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 6 – 8 PM.  Final Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Loganton, PA. www.urbinefuneralhome.com
